Views 119. First published 10 Mar 19. About 11 miles. No signs seen after arriving near harbour area in Amble. Tried to follow plan; went back on the following day, so a couple of clips near the visitor centre are from then. My video ends at the centre, which is where I started the next section (Amble to Bamburgh) soon after it had been officially opened.

This is the most interesting section of the Robin Hood Way. It takes in Cresswell Crags, Welbeck Estate, and Clumber Park. About 9 miles from 12:20 to 16:20.

After four hours (12.20 to 16.20) walking from Cresswell to A614, I had to get back to Meden Vale, just beyond Hazel Gap, to get the buses home. (11 and pronto) This section is very short, taking just 75 mins. This completes the set of videos documenting the Robin Hoos Way. (at the time of uploading, the Cresweel A614 still awaits processing and uploading)

@@robin_in_the_hood the date is essential so that everyone knows how old the video is. Why look at something ten years old expecting it to be the situation now?
Well well steven Spielberg to many jumps in your videos from scenes and your camera is never straight you explain about buildings but don't film it long enough to get a proper look you just keep walking and the date on your video has not made a blind bit of difference to the video

Can see why it had to be lifted from the front and cause the back to ground? I’ve seen buses recovered without the need to be lifted. In fact I’ve been steering a coach that was towed and we weren’t lifted at the front.
No doubt the man was Iconic and a master of the high art of letting the backbeat breathe. A concept that sadly escapes most Guitar players. A Guitarist with a totally unique signature sound and style. No flash, fireworks, fretboard gymnastics, self aggrandizing overly drawn out solos, or pyrotechnics who found a winning formula of creating timeless danceable grooves, with a "Less-is-More" equation of tasty licks, fantastic tone, simple arrangements and subtle techniques. That's a bit technical for me. Right from 1958 he has been my guitar hero, but never mentioned in the top guitarist lists. Pleased to have seen him five times and to have several videos of him on here.
@@r4ndym4n If you are a Musician you'd know exactly what I am saying. But yeah, in layman's terms HE WAS A BAD-ASS! The "Lists" don't matter because it's all subjective but most of the people that do make the lists probably cut their eye teeth as kids trying to play "Rebel Rouser" or "Ramrod" if the truth was known. I despise trying to compare artists but without a doubt this guy was the catalyst that caused many a young man or lady to pick up a Guitar. Me included.

By no means am I a Heavy recovery expert however I know that the point of pick up was a support meant to be used as it was designed to be used as such in addition with it being air brakes it needs to be picked up from the rear for stearing purpose it looks as if it's being dragged due to the brakes being on and wheels not turning in the rear
It is a very awkward corner with narrow sections and high kerbs. It would have been better to remove it from the bus station by going UP instead of down.

Sadly 2 years now they have Cancelled the march + the FLAG Only stays up for about 5 days at best time it was kept up all year around

Used to play in there back in late 70s down out fall and when dried up been all round the bottom picking up marbles etc and the far right side opposite outfall embankment we used to dig bottles as part of old dump tip, where the brook ran past used to go under a little culvert and an arched tunnel above under where railway was we crawled right through from filmed area to park at side of Vale pub and over road to valley rd park

A rescue cat from Cat's Protection. Mansfield. They had looked after her so well. She is really enjoying her new life, and has fitted in well with the routine. She eats so well here's food intake has to be limited so she does not get too heavy.

I think you forget that cameras would have been stopped if noticed. So it was done surreptitiously. The Manchester show is darker and poorer from that point of view, but at least it is a record of his final two shows in the UK, and that's priceless.
The recovery driver was an agency driver, Talstaff, so I'm guessing his first bus tow? As soon as he started towing from the front I could see it was too high. Crazy but Sparrow Recovery will foot the bill for the body work repairs.
It won't have cost that much to do the bodywork repairs as most depots do them in house.

Im not a "heavy recovery specialist" as the side of that Tow truck says but even I knew that what they did was well utterly stupid. Maybe they forgot to add the fail into it. It should be "Heavy Recovery Fail Specialists"
